Dr. Kim founded Smile Suite Orthodontics with a vision of creating an orthodontic experience that feels personal, thoughtful, and centered around each individual. Drawing on nearly two decades of experience in dentistry and orthodontics, she has built a boutique practice where relationships matter just as much as results.
What motivates Dr. Kim isn't simply creating straight teeth—it's helping people feel confident in their smiles and the decisions they make throughout treatment. She believes every patient deserves to understand not only what treatment is recommended, but why.

Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. Kim brings a warm, relationship-centered approach to every patient she meets. She believes exceptional orthodontic care begins with trust, genuine connection, and taking the time to know the person behind the smile.
Outside the office, you'll often find her traveling with her daughter Kennedy, skiing, enjoying time on the water, or exploring new destinations. She is also passionate about mentoring, lifelong learning, and giving back to her community—values instilled in her by her parents and reflected in the culture she has built at Smile Suite.
Dr. Kim chose Evanston because she was drawn to a community known for its diversity, strong sense of connection, and commitment to supporting local businesses and one another. She chose a boutique practice because she believes exceptional care is built through relationships—not volume. Knowing her patients by name, understanding their stories, and celebrating their transformations are what make orthodontics so meaningful to her.
